Rock Out with Shamrock’s Real Milk Rockin’ Protein Drink

October 24, 2018 By Patricia 33 Comments

Shamrock Farms has partnered with Arizona State University as the official protein and milk beverage of Sun Devil Athletics program. How great! Shamrock’s Rockin’ Protein is one of the delicious milk products available to ASU athletes (and you’ll find it on store shelves, too). Rockin Protein (formerly Rockin’ Refuel) is a great-tasting protein drink made with real milk.

Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps are perfect to serve when you're watching the game. These Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps are so easy to make and fun to serve.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Shamrock Farms. The opinions and text are all mine.

It’s football season, and we’ve either got a game on TV, or we head down to Tempe to take in the Arizona State University Sun Devils! If we’re at home with friends to watch the game, a delicious spread of snacks is a must. Can you imagine watching football without good food?

Heck no! For some great ideas for what to serve during the game, consider some of the following (we love them in my house):

Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatball Sliders
Sweet Potato “Fries” with Jalapeño-Onion Ranch Dip
Edamame and Mushroom Potstickers with Dipping Sauce
Cinnamon Pretzel Crunch Sugar Cookies

I’ve got alllll kinds of options!

If you like wraps, these Grilled Shrimp Wraps with Red Pepper-Artichoke Pesto are super tasty (and easy to make)!  For tacos instead of wraps, try these Slow Cooker Beef Carnitas Tacos with Spicy Pickled Radishes. They’re perfect for a crowd.

Maybe nachos are your thing? Try my healthy version of Greek Nachos with Tzatziki. You might need to double this batch because they’ll be scooped up, fast!

Rockin’ Protein for the win!

I was recently invited by Shamrock Farms to attend an ASU football game to check out a promotion  I was really excited to learn about: Shamrock Farms has partnered with ASU as the official protein and milk beverage of Sun Devil Athletics program.

Shamrock’s Rockin’ Protein is one of the delicious milk products available to ASU athletes (and you’ll find it on store shelves, too). Rockin Protein (formerly Rockin’ Refuel) is a great-tasting protein drink made with real milk.

It’s perfect for everyone, from elite athletes to casual exercisers to help feel, look, and perform at their best.

Shamrock Farms brings you Rockin' Protein! Rockin' Protein is great for elite athletes and everyday athletes, too!

Shamrock Farms is one of the largest family-owned and -operated dairies in the U.S. and is located right here in Arizona. They produce and distribute a full line of dairy products, including fresh milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, whipping cream, half and half and more.

As part of the partnership, there is a newly designed and branded nutrition station in the Student-Athlete Facility at ASU, in-stadium signage, and advertising, too.

Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps are great to serve on game day! Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps are a delight to serve and enjoy!

Another exciting part of the sponsorship is the impact it has beyond ASU. Shamrock Farms is donating up to 50,000 servings of pure, fresh milk to the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.

That makes me especially happy because as a former St. Mary’s Food Bank employee and volunteer, I know what a difference that makes in people’s lives.

And P.S. there are a few upcoming games (11/3, 11/10, and 11/24) where the Shamrock Farms booth will be set up for a Protein Pushup Challenge: for every pushup done, Shamrock Farms will donate additional servings of milk. How great!

Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps are healthy and delicious! You'll enjoy these Touchdown Turkey Lettuce Wraps,

When I was at the game, I stopped by the Ed and Nadine Carson Student-Athlete Center that houses the ASU Athletics Department. This state-of-the-art facility has so much to offer student-athletes and includes an ASU sports museum that the public can walk through.

ASU fans. The games are so fun - just as any of the ASU fans!

You should definitely head to an ASU game if you have a chance — the students and fans are really into the games their support of the Sun Devils shines through — Forks Up!

Rockin' Protein drinks from Shamrock Farms are so tasty! Rockin' Protein is a great, healthy drink from Shamrock Farms!

If you’re looking for a great protein drink made from pure, fresh milk (with no funky taste or chalkiness, trust me) you can find Rockin’ Protein in the refrigerated section of the dairy case at your local grocery, and at Fry’s grocery stores.

If you’re watching the game at home on TV, be sure to whip up one or two (or three!) of the recipes I suggested above. They’re big on flavor and easy to whip up!

These look good. Although, I'd probably opt for chicken over Turkey. I wonder if it'd be just as good?!

Hi Tallary! I'm sure chicken would be good, too. That's a popular restaurant option, too. Let me know if you try them with chicken!
