Growing up in an Italian family, Sunday was the day for pasta. We sometimes had pasta on other nights, too, but there was no getting around it on Sundays. I consider my recipe for Pasta with Asparagus and Pancetta to be “simmered in tradition,” as it makes me think back to those family meals I enjoyed, gathered around a big table.
I managed to make homemade gnocchi (with just one phone call to my mom), and it’s good. I could definitely serve this Homemade Gnocchi with Pancetta, Mushrooms, and Sage to a special guest (like my mom).
Pull a seasonal pizza from the oven this time of year. This November, why not try a pie that’s off the beaten path? This recipe for Brussels Sprouts, Butternut Squash and Pancetta Pizza fits the bill!
